WEAVING EARTH
Developed in collaboration with Davide Ronco and Pablo Dorigo and presented at Til:Værks Gallery in Copenhagen, Weaving Earth brings together three projects realised with TERRAFORMAE: Terrafina, Weave and an installation made from reclaimed terracotta bricks.
Through the dialogue between hand-moulded elements, 3D-printed components and production offcuts, the exhibition explores lightness as a defining quality of terracotta. Challenging conventional notions of weight and solidity, the projects investigate clay as a porous, permeable and textile-like material, capable of generating woven and layered architectural forms.
