WEAVE
Weave explores innovative uses of 3D-printed clay, pushing the
limits of terracotta through new production methods. Moving away from
the typical 3D-printed aesthetic, the designs embrace a technique
that resembles weaving.
Designed by Davide Ronco and Pablo Dorigo, the research is the outcome of a design residency and has led to two products: the Weave
Brick and the Weave Tile. These pieces redefine terracotta, playing with light, depth, and pattern to create objects that feel lighter and more textile-like, challenging the material’s
conventional perception.
