CRETTO
Cretto is inspired by the rural landscape of the Val di Noto, Sicily, characterised by dry stone walls and olive trees. Conceived by the DDBA architects' studio, it is the result of the reuse of SK1N - INLINE, a Sant'Anselmo product for cladding outdoor surfaces that required such rigour in its lines that many pieces are scrapped. Fascinated by the imperfect orphans of this production, DDBA architects decided to deconstruct them for their project in Val di Noto.
The solution proved to be versatile for multiple uses: from the original pieces they obtained four different elements that are then reworked and glazed in different finishes and colours, giving the surfaces an elegant final look.
